With theater director Gesine Danckwart and technologist Can Elbasi, I developed a system for online/offline play where a large group of players chat with a human avatar through a web interface. Players watch a POV live feed from the avatar and make suggestions for what the avatar should do. The suggestions are voted on, then read through a text-to-speech system and transmitted to the avatar's ear, who may or may not do what the online players wanted.
